Kazakhstan ... we only hear the name of this country and are instantly reminded to the over-the-top movie character Borat. Kazakhstan, however, is also very known for its space station Bajkonoer, from where multiple space shuttles have left. Kazakhstan is the largest country of Central Asia and the ninth biggest country in the world. The largest part of Kazakhstan consists of dessert, but the country also has mountain tops and great beautiful lakes to offer. The temperature can vary a lot, from 40°C in summer upto -20°C in winter. These winters are very long and really cold, with tons of snow, which makes it thé ideal location for skiing.
Don't be scared if during your holiday a Kazach invites you to his home, Kazach people are very hospitable. A little tip: bring them flowers or a box of chocolate to show them how much you appreciate their hospitality!
