With a normal Proximus internet connection, your IP-address changes regularly. But the standard Proximus router (b-box) does offer a way to keep your dyn-ip up-to-date.
The first step is to create the dyn-ip record in our system. In this example we purposefully used the wrong IP-address to start with. That way we can later on verify if the b-box has indeed updated the address.

On your b-box, go to "My Modem" and then click on "DynDNS". Set this up as follows:
- Enable: On
- Provider: Custom
- User name: Enter the complete host name. In our example this is dyn.yourname.be
- Password: The password you have chosen when creating the dyn-ip on our webinterface
- Host name: Again the host name
- Server: www.bnamed.net
- Port: 80
- Request: http://www.bnamed.net/dyn/dyn.asp
- Authentication: Basic

Save the settings by clicking "OK". If you then restart your modem, you should receive a new IP-address and you'll be able to verify if the dyn-ip indeed gets updated (it can take one or two minutes after the restart before you'll be able to verify that the dyn-ip has been updated).
